World on Fire

The lyrics to a popular song bring to mind memories of this rambunctious Election Season, the Crisis on Wall Street, the millions of Americans who have lost their life savings or fractions thereof in their 401(k)s, and the list goes on.  The song says, "the World is on Fire, It's more than I can handle..." which I think is how most Americans feel right now. With two Wars raging on two different fronts, it's quite common to feel that nothing is in our control anymore.

But that's where we are wrong.

Take this video from musician Sarah McLachlan - who produced a $150,000 music video for just $15 - just to prove a point that there is so much more we can do with what we're given. To see what they can do around the Globe with this funding is stunning.

This Thanksgiving, I challenge each of you to forego something for yourself, in order to give to someone else this holiday.  We may not have control over World events, but we do control the actions we take in our very home.
