What a "Waste"
As if anyone needed further proof that our once-beloved Governor has gone off the deep end, here it is.
Among all of the qualified individuals and former elected officials he could have tapped to fill California's important Waste Management Board, he picked former State Senator Carol Pigpen. I mean, Migden.
As you may recall, Migden was the Senator who, upon a drive from Sacramento to San Francisco, performed a "hit-and-run" on no less than a dozen cars. She hit the cement guardrail, bounced off of that. Hit a mother and an infant. Then hit several other cars. Did it ever occur to her to pull off of the highway and stop? No. Pinkie Tuscadero kept smashing it up, almost all the way to San Francisco until the CHP, responding to numerous 9-1-1 calls of a road-raged driver, stopped her (...and oh yes, then let her go without question. Remind me to run for office someday...)
Migden claims she had "blacked out" on her way home (I'd black that out, too, if I were her...) and with her lesbian lover by her side at a TV interview, broke into tears as she claimed it had something to do with the medication she was on. Or needed to be on. I'm not sure which. Whatever the truth was, witnesses say despite rear-ending cars, repeatedly crashing into the guardrail, and smashing others off the road, Migden was chatting it up on her cell phone all the way home. Who says we can't be proud of our Legislators.
The fact that Governor Schwarzenegger would appoint this shell of a woman to an important position is,s imply put, a WASTE.
