The Biggest Loser? Big Labor, SEIU in New Jersey

It was the incumbent New Jersey Governor Jon Corzine who stooped to calling his opponent "fat" in recent days. But tonight, it's clear that "The Biggest Losers" were the Labor unions.

While it hasn't yet been mentioned in the mainstream media, make no mistake: The SEIU had major stakes in tonight's race.  This was a colossal disappointment.  They sent mailpieces.  They spent countless dollars.  They were counting on Corzine and his so-called "corrupt" Administration (the Media's word, not mine) to continue the handouts to Unions and big Union bosses on the backs of homeowners, businesses, and taxpayers. We're talking back-door deals that reached Tony Soprano proportions.

To be sure, we have a terrible epidemic of Union strangleholds choking the system in California.  However, as back-door wheeling-and-dealing goes, California ain't got nuthin' on New Jersey. You dig?

But tonight, Voters told the Unions to get lost.  And it signals enormous hope and change for California.  Because if the Unions can't even survive in New Jersey, they will begin to crumble elsewhere.

New Jersey has led the way to show the Unions can be toppled. California, are you ready?
