Think Britney Spears could handle the Budget nearly as good as the California State Legislature?

You're not alone.

A new Poll conducted by Wilson Research shows that the Public is nearly equally divided over who they would trust more to manage the State Budget:  Britney Spears or the California Legislature. 35% of those surveyed say that California Legislators could manage the Budget, with Britney trailing a close second at 31%. (34% of respondents said they did not know... which probably doesn't bode well for California's future, either.)

With the Budget already in the Red (and it isn't even the State of the State Address yet!), a new Petition has hit the Web to help you "Say No to Sacramento!"  I, for one, think it's the PERFECT gift to send Legislators for Christmas.

Tell the Big Spenders in the Capitol to get their hands off your hard-earned money and to repeal the recent additional 10% withholding Tax which hit Californians in the pocketbook just as unemployment peaked just as the holidays approached.
