2000-2010: Let's See How Far We've Come
As we close out the historic Decade of 2000 - 2010, I would like to take a moment to share with you a song that sums up this Decade best for me.
The lyrics remind me of what we've been through as a Nation, with the horrific attacks on 9/11, the internal strife brought on by Bush v. Gore, a tragic overseas Tsunami, Hurricane Katrina, the first Republican Woman V.P. candidate, the Inauguration of America's first African-American President, and everything in between.
As we reflect back on the Decade that was and see "How Far We've Come," I believe it's even more important to ask ourselves "Where do we go from here..."
